The Beltane Papers is a forum for women to express the sacred in their lives. We are interested in all the ways women explore the sacred, including crafts, pilgrimages, herbs, divination, personal experiences with women’s mysteries. We are also known for and actively pursue articles of a scholarly nature on women's culture. Although our publication has a Pagan/Goddess/Feminist perspective, we welcome a broad spectrum of women’s spiritual paths, beliefs and experiences. We print reviews of books, tarot decks, etc. At this time we only accept writing and art by women.

There is limited space; essays and personal experiences can be no longer than a page and a half, scholarly articles 2 pages, recipes, spells, crafts, and ritual, no more than a page and a half. There will be less graphics, but artwork is part of TBP's soul and artwork submissions of a smaller nature, 1/2 a page size or less, black and white, are welcome. Book reviews will have to be a paragraph or so, and I may not include book covers, we'll see how the space is working.

Deadlines: well, what is the point of making anything to concrete at this point, but April 20th? If I don't have enough material then maybe May 15th. Let's see what happens.

Thank you, Lise Quinn, TBP ( editor@thebeltanepapers.net )
